Hi all! With the advent of televisions, watching cartoons has become an integral part of our lives. However, as with books, I think that it is necessary to cultivate a good taste in a child for cartoons too. Agree that old, hand-drawn and puppet cartoons are especially valuable to us. We return to them again and again and prefer them to modern graphics. After all, just think, in order to make a short cartoon, you need to draw more than a thousand, or even more drawings. Here I tried to collect our favorite, and maybe even forgotten somewhere, autumn cartoons for children:
1. Cheerful garden, 1947
Soviet cartoon about autumn, shot by Vladimir Suteev. The animated film tells about Vanya and Mashenka Knopochkins. The children decided to make their own garden. Planted vegetables, fruits, made a scarecrow. However, the brother and sister have to face many difficulties, which they overcome with courage.
2. Gray neck, 1948
An animated cartoon based on the fairy tale of the same name by Dmitry Mamin-Sibiryak. The plot of the cartoon revolves around a duck named Gray Neck. One day, Gray Neck saved a hare that was attacked by a fox. But the fox broke the wing of the duck and she did not manage to fly south with a flock of birds. Further, the cartoon tells how the hare also helps the duck survive the cold and not be eaten by the red fox. .
3. Three lumberjacks, 1959
Hand-drawn cartoon based on the fairy tale "Bubble, straw and bast shoes". Once upon a time there was a bubble, a straw and a bast shoe, and they somehow went into the forest to chop wood. And now they have reached the river and do not know how to cross the road? "Bubble, let's swim across you!" - “No, bast shoe, it’s better to drag the straw from shore to shore, and we will cross it” ...
4. A fairy tale about other people's colors, 1962
Another good hand-drawn autumn animated film from 1962. Every spring, under each tree, its own autumn man is born. Autumn workers work all summer, preparing colors for autumn. But here the boy Kuzma No-drop-mind somehow took away a bucket full of bright paint from the autumn garden. Kuzma noticed that by touching the canvas with a brush with foreign paints, leaves of amazing beauty appeared. The boy's work was admired and became popular. However, autumn came and autumn leaf fall burst into the hall with the paintings exhibited by the boy and plucked the leaves painted with other people's colors from the wall. No matter how hard Kuzma tried to hold on to the leaves, nothing happened, "after all, Kuzma painted with other people's colors, the colors of the autumn tree."
7. Mirror, 1967
A Soviet cartoon in which the main action is given to a girl who loved to admire herself very much. When she gets into the forest, she loudly declares that whoever compliments her better gets candy. Animals, birds praised the girl. The bunny especially tried to get the candy and did not lag behind the girl a single step.
8. Autumn fishing, 1968
An unusual autumn story about how the cubs decided to fish for the last time before the onset of winter and fished out the moon first, then the stars. Having filled the whole sky with stars, they decided to fish on a maple leaf and caught the real ... sun. The night has passed, the morning has come. And the cubs were left without a catch.
9. Uncle Misha, 1970
A cartoon about autumn, based on the story of the same name by Vladimir Suteev. Autumn, forest dwellers stock up for the winter. And the bear, looking at their work, either joins the hare to pick carrots, then picks mushrooms to the hedgehog, or nuts to the squirrels. However, due to the fact that Uncle Misha takes on new tasks every time, he did not manage to prepare supplies for the winter.
10. The youngest rain, 1971
Thunder and lightning had several rain sons. Each brother had his own job, and Junior Rain was not trusted with any work. But he really wanted to do some miracle. And now he had a watering can, with the help of which it was necessary to water the earth, "so that everything grows and blooms." And soon he really begins to work miracles.
12. Bag of apples, 1974
The cartoon is based on the fairy tale of the same name by Suteev. One day the hare decided to collect food for his family and went into the forest with a bag. There he finds an apple tree and picks up a whole bag of apples. However, on the way he meets forest dwellers and treats everyone with apples. As a result, approaching the house, he finds that the apples have run out and the bag is empty. But returning for apples, he meets a wolf. The hare was forced to leave the apple tree and run home. At home, a hare was waiting for him with many gifts from forest animals, whom the hare treated to apples.
17. Tiger cub on a sunflower, 1981
A small Ussuri tiger cub finds a sprouted sunflower seed in a snowdrift and warms it up. The sunflower sprouts the next morning. And in the center of the sunflower, covered with petals, a tiger cub sleeps. Autumn came, strong winds blew and the sunflower fell to the ground. The tiger cub huddled under the sunflower and fell asleep. After some time, many flowers grew from sunflower seeds, which became a home for other animals.
18. Autumn ships, 1982
Another cartoon about autumn, released by the Soyuzmultfilm studio based on the fairy tale by Sergei Kozlov. An unusually heartfelt story about a hedgehog dreamer. The hedgehog dreamed of his own sea: he took water in a bucket and thought about where to get him a boat. He met a bear cub, a squirrel. But no one got support. Only the wolf responded and carved a ship out of wood. I don’t know why, but I don’t remember this cartoon in my childhood. We watched it with my daughter, and now she also asked for a boat. Well, let's do it.)
19. Rain, more rain!, 1982
A story about grandfather Grom and his grandson Gromik, who really wanted to rattle himself, but grandfather did not allow it. But now Gromik finds himself in a city where there has not been rain for a long time and, having disobeyed his grandfather, he begins to rattle the roof of the house, the drainpipe, and the musical plate. But the people of the city were waiting for the rain, and they stopped paying attention to little Gromik. In the end, Gromik returned to his grandfather and asked him to triple the rain for the people.
20. Cheburashka goes to school, 1983
A puppet animated film about Gena the crocodile returning on a plane from afar. But Cheburashka does not meet him. It turns out that Cheburashka cannot read, and therefore could not understand the telegram received from Crocodile Gena. So, it is necessary to send Cheburashka to school. However, in this series, Shapoklyak also interferes with the heroes, playing Crocodile Gena and Cheburashka with “Repair” signs.
21. Autumn comes to Moominvalley, 1983
This cartoon about autumn is based on the fairy tale "The Wizard's Hat" by the world-famous writer Tove Marika Jansson. Autumn is coming and all the inhabitants of Moomin Valley are preparing supplies for the winter. Moominmamma lost her bag. The whole Moomin Valley set off in search of her. And when the bag is found, mother-dol arranges a feast in honor of this event.
22. Sinichkin Calendar - Autumn, 1984

Having reached the river, the elk wants to cross to the other side, but the animals, having settled comfortably, refuse to obey the desire of the elk. But suddenly, shots are heard, and the elk runs through the thicket, saving everyone on its horns. The animals thank their savior and swear that they will never leave him. And then ... the antlers fall off the elk (after all, the time has come). The dumbfounded guests follow the lone elk with their eyes.
