In the Nokia 5800 review, I took the liberty of opening the veil of secrecy over Nokia's plans and telling you in what direction the development of touch devices will go. Those who carefully read reviews and participate in the life of the forum knew about a year ago that in the first half of 2009 an inexpensive version of the Nokia 5800 with reduced functionality would be announced. This happened later than originally expected, because sales of the Nokia 5800 exceeded all the boldest forecasts, this device has become one of the best-selling devices on the market. In its own segment - the undisputed leader. What pushed the Nokia 5530 launch date. Is it good or bad? In my opinion, there is a twofold situation. For us, as buyers, this means greater stability of the software, since it is similar to that used in Nokia 5800, for the company, the life of the device becomes shorter. On the other hand, the lifetime of Nokia 5800 increases by exactly the same number of months.

During the victorious march on the markets of Nokia 5800, competitors did not sleep, so Samsung launched the Star model on the market, which also became the undisputed leader in the 200-250 Euro segment. This is one of the most affordable touch devices. The price is not the last value, and the Star example clearly proved this. The forthcoming device from Nokia will have to compete with it, as well as a number of other models, for example, LG KP500, although the share of the latter is small.

Samsung Star:

Nokia 5530 XpressMusic:

The main objective of Nokia is to expand the range of devices with touch screens. There are currently three models - Nokia 5800, Nokia N97 as a flagship, and Nokia 5530. We can't expect an aggressive expansion of the number of models in 2009, this is a gradual expansion of the offer, step by step. Against the backdrop of Samsung's activity, such efforts are not enough, but for Nokia, due to the perception of the brand and its market share, they are justified. The company will have high sales for each of the models in its segments, not the maximum within the entire market, but high. This, apparently, is quite enough.

What is Nokia 5530 XpressMusic? Perhaps this is the first music phone, which is completed for a long period of time with high-quality headphones. Especially for the XpressMusic line, Nokia has developed a new type of headset. In fact, we see a complete copy of the Nokia 5800 in a smaller body, with slightly worse characteristics - a smaller screen, less memory, worse delivery package. Less cost. Probably, we can stop here and note that not everyone can afford the Nokia 5800. From this it follows that this offer is for those who are looking for a touch-sensitive music phone for minimal money and from a well-known company.

The fact that the Nokia 5530 is one of the most inexpensive S60-based smartphones is also unusual, which also gives it additional advantages. Not everyone understands what smartphones are, why they are needed, so for some buyers this will be an inexpensive touchscreen device from Nokia, but for a part of the audience this is an interesting offer due to the cost of the S60.

Design, dimensions, controls

And again, the device is made of plastic, two speakers are taken away with metal meshes, which are located on the front surface. The sound spreads differently than in Nokia 5800, some people think that the speakers are worse, others find them more pleasant. In my subjective taste, they are neither better nor worse, exactly the same.

Phone size - 104x49x13 mm (5800 - 111x51.7x15.5 mm), weight - 107 grams (109 grams in 5800). The model is smaller in size, more pleasant in the hand. It was possible to achieve this only by reducing the diagonal of the screen.

Comparison with Nokia 5800 XpressMusic:

Comparison with Nokia N97:

Other changes include the rejection of the mechanical Menu key, all buttons on the front panel are touch-sensitive. You may like it or not, but it is clearly convenient, since there is no difference in pressing the screen or these keys. A separate key to launch a multimedia line with application shortcuts is located above the screen.

On the right side there is a paired volume key, a screen lock slider, it has not undergone major changes and can, apparently, stick, just like on the Nokia N97, Nokia 5800, but you need to check this in practice, with prolonged use of the device than I am doing it at the moment. On the left side there is a hinged cover that covers the memory card slot, as well as the SIM card slot. On the top there is an on/off button, on the bottom there is a 3.5 mm jack for connecting a headset, a 2 mm jack for a charger, and a microUSB connector, it is hidden behind a flap that slides out of the case. The stylus is right there.

In my opinion, the build quality is no worse than in the Nokia 5800, but the design with a screw has been avoided, that is, the case should potentially not come off in the upper right corner. The plastic is inexpensive, the back panel is glossy, and the chrome edging around the screen gives the device a certain charm. The disadvantages include the fact that the back panel is not fastened too tightly, there is a certain backlash, it is annoying. Put on the panel carefully, snap it all the way. In the assembled state, the backlash is preserved, it is not too large, but it is present.

Five colors are available, they can be conditionally divided into two groups - the main color is black or white. Further, the color is determined by the color of the piping on the side. There are five color variations in total. They all look good.

Display

The screen is covered with a plastic protective surface, almost not recessed into the case, you can work with both your hand and the stylus. The display is almost completely similar to that in Nokia 5800 at first glance, the diagonal is slightly smaller. Let me remind you that the diagonal of the 5800 is 3.2 inches, the aspect ratio is 16:9, the resolution is 640x360 pixels (39x69 mm). Here the diagonal of the device is 2.9 inches. The display displays up to 16 million colors, the picture is juicy, bright, striking.

The difference between the screens is revealed by direct comparison. The picture is brighter indoors, better seen on the Nokia 5530, no difference in the sun. In Nokia 5530, the screen is one of the first equipped with AFFS (Advanced Fringe Field Switching) technology, which allows you to achieve good viewing angles. I'm not sure that viewing angles are so important, but the picture quality is different.

The screen automatically rotates depending on the position of the body. It takes one second or less to turn around. The display is slightly recessed into the case, along the edges there are sides. When scrolling to the right, the finger may touch the side, someone will not like it, but in principle it does not cause any discomfort. The edge is smaller than in Nokia 5800, it is almost imperceptible.

In the sun, the screen remains readable, there are no problems. Up to 14 lines of text and up to 3 service lines fit on the screen. The display is ideal for viewing videos, photos, large lists.

Battery

The phone uses a BL-4U lithium-ion battery, it has a capacity of 1000 mAh (battery capacity of 5800 - 1320 mAh). According to the manufacturer, the phone can work up to 4.5 hours of talk time, up to 350 hours of standby time. Music playback time - up to 27 hours, video recording in maximum quality - up to 140 minutes, video playback - up to 3.5 hours.

The operating time of the device averages about 2 days in the conditions of Moscow cellular networks. At the same time, you can talk for up to an hour, take a few pictures, record a couple of minutes of video and listen to radio or music for up to an hour. The time to fully charge the battery is about an hour and thirty minutes. For active users who check mail, sit on Twitter, the operating time is about one business day. My device was discharged guaranteed by the evening. For comparison: Nokia 5800 lived in my hands for up to two days, Nokia N97 - at least a day and a half. Therefore, among these models, the operating time of Nokia 5530 is minimal.

Here is the maximum operating time in various modes:

  • Video playback - 1 hour 40 minutes (H.264 hands-free)
  • WEB surfing (EDGE connection) – 3 hours
  • Listening to music with headphones - 24 hours
  • Radio - 21.5 hours

The reduced battery capacity by almost 30 percent leads to a reduction in operating time by a similar time.

Performance

The animation depends on the chosen theme, but the effects work perfectly, the speed of work has increased, it is noticeable to the eye. ARM11 processor with a frequency of 434 MHz, which also contributes to a slightly higher interface speed (although the main merit is in the software).

Memory

The amount of RAM in the phone is 128 MB, after downloading the device has free from 70 to 74 MB of memory. Also, the user has access to about 75 MB of memory in the device itself to save their data. The kit includes a 4 GB memory card, which will be enough for most users. We tested the operation of the 32 GB card, the phone recognizes it without any problems. Hot-swappable memory cards are supported.

USB, Bluetooth, WiFi

USB. In the USB settings, you can select one of 4 operating modes:

  • Data Transfer (Mass Storage USB)– both the phone's memory and the memory card are visible, no drivers are required, the OS itself recognizes the phone.
  • PC Suite– work with Nokia PC Suite, access to all functions of the device, backup of all information, and so on.
  • Image Transfer- photo transfer.
  • media transfer– multimedia file transfer (MTP).

The data transfer speed is about 5 Mb/s. The phone does not charge when the USB cable is connected.

Bluetooth. The Bluetooth version in the smartphone is 2.0 with EDR support. The device supports the following profiles:

  • Dial Up Networking Profile (Gateway)
  • Object Push Profile (Server and Client)
  • File Transfer Profile (Server)
  • Hands Free Profile (Audio Gateway)
  • Headset Profile (Audio Gateway)
  • Basic Imaging Profile (Image Push Responder and Initiator)
  • Remote SIM Access Profile (Server)
  • Device Identification Profile
  • Phone Book Access Profile (Server)
  • Stereo Audio Streaming:
  • Generic Audio/Video Distribution Profile
  • Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (A/V Remote Control Target)
  • Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (Audio Source)

The data transfer rate via Bluetooth is 100 Kb/s on average. We tested the stereo sound transfer to a headset such as Sony Ericsson DS970, composition control, rewind, skipping works without problems, at the same time, the name of the current song is not displayed on the screen.

WiFi. The device supports Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11g). All security standards (WEP, WPA, WPA2) are supported, the settings are maximum. There is a wizard for Wi-Fi networks, it can search for them in the background and, if necessary, connect to such networks.

Musical possibilities

It's a typical player from Nokia, but thanks to the bundled headphones, the device sounds better than the Nokia 5800 out of the box. Model WH205 is one of the best on the market among those included with the phone. In its price class, these are the best bundled headphones in the phone. It is a pity that there is no remote control for the phone.

List of supported formats: AAC, AAC+, eAAC, eAAC+, MP3, MP4, M4A, WMA, Mobile XMF, SP-MIDI, AMR (NB-AMR), MIDI Tones (poly 64), RealAudio 7,8,10, True tones (WB-AMR), WAV. Various bitrates are supported for mp3 files, including VBR. When synchronizing with Windows Media Player 11 and later, DRM-protected files (Janus DRM) may be used.

Equalizers. The sound quality also changes noticeably when changing equalizers. Each equalizer is 8-band, 6 preset, each can be edited to your liking, except for the default sound. Here is a list of equalizers: Bass Booster, Classical, Jazz, Pop, Rock. In the sound settings, you can also select the channel balance, stereo extension (StereoWidening), plus Loudness.

The device has a random playback function, as well as repeating all songs or the selected one. In standby mode, the screen displays information about the file being played.

In the music menu, there is a sorting of the list of songs by all songs, playlists (there are automatic - recently added, never played, etc.), artists, albums, genres and composers. The music library (read the list of files) is automatically updated when synchronizing with a PC using Nokia PC Suite, but if you insert a card with recorded songs, this does not happen. An interesting option is to view general information about the music library.

Podcasting- podcasts are an integral part of the music player, previously it was a separate application. You can access podcasts from the player's menu, or you can download the application separately, in the second case you have access to the library, Nokia's podcast catalog, searching for them, setting up synchronization, and so on. Podcasts you subscribe to can be automatically downloaded, depending on how you download podcasts (in your home network or only through a specific access point). There are filters for accessing podcasts; in general, the application is convenient and very useful.

A music shop– access to Nokia Music Store, it is possible to buy songs, albums, download them to your device.

FM radio- a regular radio, at the first start it prompts you to select a region, depending on this, one or another FM band will be used. There is support for RDS, automatic tuning to the station, when playing the frequency of the station in the form of an animated splash screen is shown on the screen. Very beautiful. Nothing special can be said about the radio.

Screen shots:

Camera

It uses a CMOS-matrix, resolution - 3.2 megapixels, autofocus. Speaking in my first impressions that the camera is a cheap variant of the Nokia 5800, I focused solely on its cost. A comparison in practice showed that the camera outperforms the same Nokia 5800 in terms of color reproduction, it looks more interesting. On the other hand, the module itself is really cheaper. In comparison, you can see the differences between the camera, but for now about the settings.

The camera settings are as follows, you can choose from 3 resolutions:

  • Print 3M-Large
  • Print 2M – Medium
  • Multimedia message 0.3M

There are the following modes (Scene mode): Automatic, User Defined, Close-Up, Portrait, Landscape, Sports, Night, Night Portrait.

You can set the grid on the screen, set a timer to take pictures of yourself.

The color effects are as follows: Sepia, B&W, Vivid, Negative. White balance - automatic, Sunny, Cloudy, Incandescent, Fluorescent. Contrast -2 to +2. Sharpness in three parameters, set to ISO (low, medium, high).

In a word, quite normal camera settings. Let's take a look at the photos, you will appreciate that the camera of stars from the sky is not enough, it is quite comfortable for this device.

It went on sale a year ago. The 5530's GPS navigation capabilities were taken away, the dimensions became a little smaller, and the weight was a little lighter. This phone is not capable of working in 3G networks. The data rate is limited by the HSCSD standard. The display has also become a little smaller - its diagonal is 2.9 inches instead of 3.2, but it is made using AFFS technology, which is an evolution of S-IPS and provides wide viewing angles.

Nokia 5530 XpressMusic specifications and positioning

Since our readers had the opportunity to get acquainted with the Nokia 5800 in detail in a detailed review, it makes sense to dwell on the differences with it, at the same time comparing the characteristics of these two models with the Nokia 5230, which is on sale the other day. The comparison is more than fair, since all three devices are part of the XpressMusic music line and today represent an exhaustive list of Nokia music phones equipped with a touch screen and sold on our market. does not apply to music, but (especially for our inattentive readers from Russia) is not yet sold on our market.

Of the three, the model is the smallest and lightest, with the smallest but more technologically advanced screen. Only the lack of a GPS receiver and support for third generation networks does not allow it to become a killer 5800, completely burying its sales. It is worth saying that I do not quite agree with one of the common opinions that the 5530 is an improved 5800, in which everything is improved and “brought to mind”. The world knows many examples of how successful companies repeatedly release new products that become popular and thus destroy the sales of previous products. Suffice it to recall Gillette, where each new shaving system literally devours the previous one, forcing customers to buy the brand's products again and again, turning a blind eye to competitors' products. I'm not going to justify anyone in any way, but in my opinion, there is logic in such actions. Take a look at any store: there are a lot of touchscreen phones, in each you will definitely find the Samsung S5230 Star, LG KP500, and the very latest Samsung Corby and LG GD510. But in each you will also find Nokia models: 5800, 5530 and soon 5230. At the same time, Nokia phones are always more expensive and are smartphones. You can discuss prices as much as you like, but it is clear that every company strives to reach a level where customers will be willing to pay more for its products than for competitors' products of similar capabilities.

Package contents Nokia 5530 XpressMusic

To begin with, I suggest watching a short video that gives an idea of what this phone is equipped with.

  1. Box
  2. Charger
  3. Disc with Nokia OVI Suite
  4. 4 GB microSD card
  5. Short USB cable
  6. Nokia 5530 XpressMusic phone
  7. Two sets of eartips of different sizes
  8. stereo headset
  9. User manual in Russian and Ukrainian

Appearance

The phone's stylus, unlike the 5800 model, has a round section. For ease of extraction, at its tip there is a special element for which you can pry with your fingernail.

The phone comes in black or silver. Silver, in my opinion, looks prettier, its front panel looks like metal, even if they are not. At the same time, there are 3 more varieties that differ in a plastic insert in the sidewall. In addition to blue (in the picture), there may also be yellow or purple. Together with a couple of modifications of the black case, we end up with 5 possible delivery options.

The plastic of the back panel looks too unpretentious. The lid feels brittle, although experience with the 5800 with the same flimsy lid has shown that it never breaks.

The microUSB cable is very short. For a laptop owner, this is convenient, if the connector is hidden on the rear panel in a desktop computer and you need to crawl under the table every time, then not really. On the other hand, for god knows how long desktops have had connectors on the front panel.

I liked the headset more than the one that came with the 5800. The headphones have seals, thanks to which they do not fall out of the ears regularly. True, at low frequencies they turned out to be weaker, I constantly lacked rich bass.

The kit includes two more pairs of nozzles of a different size - if you wish, you can choose those with which it is most convenient.

There is no remote control on the headset, there is just a block with a bracket for attaching to clothes, a call answer button and a microphone (black dot in the middle picture).

The right panel contains (from left to right) a volume rocker, a screen lock lever, and a camera button. On the left is a long cover for a double slot, which contains a memory card and a SIM card. At the top there is only a power button, at the bottom there is a microUSB connector, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 2mm charger jack.

The plug slides out on a plastic plate.

It does not rotate, but it extends far enough that the connection of the cable does not create inconvenience.

To the right of the XpressMusic inscription there is a touch button for calling a special media panel, which you could read about in detail in the 5800 review. There are three touch buttons at the bottom (the hardware ones were completely abandoned). Potentially, this means that when the application hangs, the only thing left to do is turn off the phone, while the hardware button would allow you to switch to the application manager and close the problematic one. But this is more of a theory. In practice, I did not notice any inconvenience.

The built-in 3-megapixel camera is mounted with a backlight LED. It seemed to me noticeably weaker than that of the 5800 model. However, buyers of musical models, as practice shows, do not care much about the camera.

A long plug is attached at one end to the body. Unlike, say Nokia 5730, where it was attached in the center and got lost very quickly.

Inside is a SIM card and a memory card. The plug is bent, as you can see, almost 180 degrees.

There are no surprises under the hood. Stylus socket only.

Battery capacity 1000 mAh

Comparative dimensions with Nokia N97 and N97 Mini

Of course, it would be more correct to compare the Nokia 5530 with the 5800 and 5230 models, but only Nokia N97 and N97 Mini were at hand:

Now it's all on video and live:

Menu Features

Of course, the interface of the phone is determined by the version of the operating system. All this can be seen in detail in the Nokia 5800 review. Here I would just like to dwell on the features. But most of the screenshots are just for general acquaintance.

The desktop has three visualization options, 4 link shortcuts can be set independently.

Topics: Standard, Link Bar, Contact Bar. The latter may contain not 4 links, as in 5800, but 20. Which is very good.

Phone management menu. It's nice that you can adjust the placement of icons if you wish, by moving the squares with the necessary applications higher with your finger.

The dialer is standard, with large buttons so that you don't have to take out the stylus. In vertical orientation, the virtual keyboard is telephone. To switch to the touch QWERTY-keyboard mode, you just need to turn the phone to a horizontal position (which, by the way, the 5800 did not have). A dozen templates will help you quickly send a message (nice thing, but I wonder - does anyone actually use them? I personally forget about this possibility all the time, although at least a third of my messages could use one of these texts).

The browser has not changed in any way, applications for social networks are installed (we are still waiting for programs for our popular LiveJournal, VKontakte and Odnoklassniki). Of course, the menu has the ability to connect to OVI. Bookmarks in the browser lead to the same place.

The browser is not one of the most convenient, I still can’t get around to write more about it. He knows a lot, but for the convenience of multi-touch (and a capacitive screen), he apparently would not hurt.

Screenshots of system memory, memory card and music player.

The “Software Update” item allows you to update the firmware or install new applications through the current Internet connection (this is where Wi-Fi comes in handy).

Everything is done easily and simply, you just need to agree with everything (the girls will really like it).

The market launch of this long-awaited model was postponed several times for objective reasons. As a result, extraordinary software stability has been achieved.

Positioning

The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is the first to come with quality headphones. Directly for this series, the company has developed a unique type of headset. Model 5800, well known to many admirers of the company, is, in fact, a copy of Nokia 5530. The characteristics of the latter, however, are slightly reduced. Our hero has a smaller body size, a more modest screen and memory performance, the package is also simplified. However, due to this approach, the manufacturer managed to offer a functional device at a much more affordable price. So, this phone is suitable for people who are looking for a touch-sensitive music device with a low cost from a well-known manufacturer. Nokia 5530 has S60 firmware, which also characterizes it in a good way.

Design, dimensions and controls

The device is made of plastic, while 2 speakers are taken here with metal meshes. They are located on the front surface. The size of the device is 104x49x13 mm and weighs 107 grams. Since the device is relatively small, it fits comfortably in the hand. In this model, the manufacturer abandoned the usual mechanical button "Menu", all the keys on the front panel are touch-sensitive. A separate button that launches a multimedia line with application icons is located above the screen. The right side contains a paired volume key, a screen lock function. On the left there is a cover covering the memory card slot and the SIM card slot. On the top side there is a power button, and on the bottom - a 3.5 mm headset jack and an input for connecting a charger. hides a plug that slides out of the case. In addition, the stylus is also located here.

Judging by user reviews, the build quality is not satisfactory. Also, the owners welcome the rejection of the screw in the design, because thanks to this, the case in the upper corner does not move away. Inexpensive plastic is used here, the back panel is made glossy, chrome-plated edging surrounds the screen, which gives the device an additional charm.

Some users in their reviews express dissatisfaction with the fact that the phone is not very securely fastened, which causes a certain backlash. The panel must be put on carefully and snapped into place until the end. When the phone is fully assembled, the play remains, but it is not very large.

Nokia 5530 has 5 color schemes, they can be conditionally divided into 2 groups. The main color is black or white. Next, choose the color of the edging. Only 5 color variations. They are all worthy of attention.

Display

The screen is covered by a plastic protective surface. The display is almost not immersed in the case. The work is done by hand and stylus. Diagonal - 2.9 inches. The screen displays 16 million colors, the picture is juicy and bright. Nokia 5530 received AFFS technology, which made it possible to achieve excellent viewing angles. The screen rotates automatically based on the position of the case. Orientation change takes about a second. Along the edges of the display are the sides. While scrolling to the right, the finger may well touch one of them. However, this does not cause discomfort. The edge is almost invisible. The screen remains readable in the sun. It places 14 text lines and 3 service lines. The screen is great for viewing large lists, photos and videos.

Battery

The device uses BL-4U - lithium-ion battery. It has a capacity of 1000 mAh. According to the manufacturer, the phone can work for 4.5 hours when talking. It is also assumed to provide 350 hours in the case of standby mode. Music playback period is 27 hours. Video recording at maximum quality can last 140 minutes. His phone is capable of playing for 3.5 hours. Based on user feedback, the average operating time of the device is 2 days. Fully charging the battery will take about an hour and a half.

Performance

The animation in Nokia 5530 depends on the theme used, but the effects work great. The speed is no problem. The processor used here is ARM11. Its frequency is 434 MHz.

Memory

The amount of RAM in this case is 128 MB. Phone Nokia 5530 after loading has within 70-74 megabytes of memory on the internal drive. Approximately 75 MB is also available in the device itself to save personal data. Included is a 4 GB memory card. If desired, you can use removable media up to 32 GB. Hot-swappable memory cards are supported.

Data interfaces

In the USB settings, you can choose the most suitable of the four operating modes. When working with Data Transfer, you can see the phone's memory, as well as installed drives, no drivers are required. The operating system automatically recognizes the phone. You can also activate the PC Suite mode, which gives you access to all the variety of functions of the device. Among them, there is even a backup of information. If you select Image Transfer, photo transfer starts. There is also a special mode for transferring multimedia files. It is called Media Transfer. The data transfer rate is approximately 5 Mb/s.

Some users in their reviews complain that the phone does not charge while connecting the USB cable. The Bluetooth version is 2.0. Work with EDR is provided. The device supports many profiles. The average speed of information transfer via Bluetooth reaches 100 Kb/s. User reviews indicate that the ability to connect the headset via a wireless interface works flawlessly. The device supports Wi-Fi. All major security standards are provided, the settings are maximum. There is a "Wi-Fi Network Wizard". This tool can "in the background" search for connections and, if necessary, connect to the Network.

Musical possibilities

The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic received a classic player, but the sound quality in this case is at its best, thanks to the bundled headphones. Their model is WH205. Users recognize this solution as one of the best in its price category. Some reviews expressed regret at the lack of a phone control center on the headset.

The list of supported formats is huge. In the case of mp3 files, there are different bitrates, among which VBR is also provided. If you synchronize your device with WMP, you can work with DRM-protected files. It should be noted that the song title, author, as well as controls are shown on the display. Progressive rewind is provided. The sound quality changes noticeably during the selection of equalizers. Moreover, each of these instruments is 8-band. There are 6 preinstalled.

Everything can be edited according to your preferences. Only the default sound cannot be edited. The list of equalizers is as follows: Rock, Pop, Jazz, Classical, Bass, Booster. The sound settings allow you to set the channel balance, use the stereo extension, as well as the Loudness function. It is possible to randomly play, repeat the entire list of songs or only the selected one. The screen always displays information about the song being played. The music menu has the ability to sort the list by songs, playlists, artists, composers, genres and albums.

Another important feature of the Nokia 5530 is the price. You can buy it today for 88 US dollars.

This phone has many advantages, for example, good sound, wi-fi, the camera is excellent (you don’t need more for a phone!), The sensor responds well, both to the stylus and to the finger

Camera - Design - Ease of use (not buggy) - Works for a long time in music playback mode and generally lasts for 2 days

    1. Design. I chose it primarily because of him. 2. Camera. Only 3.2 megapixels, but the photos are excellent. 3. Player. Convenient, but for some reason, not all tracks are sorted by playlists, they are shoved into the general list. 4. Resistive sensor. Outdated, but downright sweet to the heart. 5. Not buggy. For 2.5 years there was not a single complaint.

    1. Value for money. 2. Comfortable phone, fits well in the hand. 3. Convenient finger typing. I almost never use a stylus. 4. Large, bright and high quality display. 5 The sound is excellent, very loud and "tasty" 6. Camera with excellent autofocus, focuses well on text, behaves perfectly during the day. Four flash. 7. The network has a lot of good software already adapted to Simba 9.4 5th

play on the back cover, the slot for the stylus also begins to play with time and the stylus is not fixed completely, the latch on the USB has disappeared, the back panel is scratched even with a relatively careful attitude ... although in one word we can say a drawback - this is the build quality and plastic material .

    There are not many disadvantages:
    1) The camera is not ice, but for such a price it suits, especially in order to take a photo there is a camera.
    2) With "non-native" themes it works a little slower, but in principle they are satisfied with their own themes!
These are minor shortcomings that I found in the phone! So far there have been no problems with the back cover and the lock button!)

A weak battery, infrequent, but also frequent glitches, a soiled (very attractive for dirt) case, the lack of a large number of color solutions.

the stylus is constantly lost, because it is poorly fixed and becomes loose over time, the battery began to discharge quickly (after more than 2 years), it cuts down during active use in winter

    1) Terribly buggy.
    2) Turns itself off.
    3) I constantly surf the Internet, charging is enough for half a day.
    4) If the phone falls, it falls apart into all its components.
    5) The phone lives its own life, in the jeans pocket it constantly calls anyone.
    6) Terrible sensor.
    7) The case is quickly scratched.
    8) Bad flash.
    9) Auto screen rotation is terrible.
    10) Terrible browser.
    11) The lock slider does not work clearly.
    12) The reset button hangs.

The biggest drawback is the stylus. When you have it and use it, it scratches the film on the screen very strongly, when it is lost, not through the fault of the user, but through the fault of the case designers, after two or three months of use, the stylus almost did not stay in the phone, I constantly had to monitor it, but everything he got lost, the only drawback now is the problem of getting the sim card out of the phone.
you can also call it a disadvantage that you have to update the firmware a couple of times a year, otherwise the phone starts to blunt.
