But there is no GPS module in the smartphone; Era Nano 3 cannot be used as a navigator.
Through the Micro-usb slot, you can connect your smartphone to a computer or laptop, transfer files, do synchronization, etc.
Unfortunately, there is practically nothing to say about the rear camera either. The quality of the photos is very, very mediocre. The camera does not have autofocus. The camera flash is rather weak. If you take pictures in low light, then the photos are even worse (example in the 4th photo below). Maximum photo resolution - 2048x1536 pixels. Video is recorded in resolution 720 x 480 pixels.
It is clear what to demand from a smartphone for 2000 rubles. a quality camera is not a noble occupation. If something urgently needs to be photographed in general terms in daylight, then a smartphone is quite suitable for this purpose. In other cases, you can not rely on the phone's camera.
You can see examples of photos below. Pictures are clickable.
In Era Nano 3 installed 1-core processor SC7710 with a core frequency of 1.0 GHz, 512 MB RAM and graphics chip Mali-300.
Built-in memory total 512 MB , of which approximately 120 MB is available to the user. You can install a memory card and expand the volume up to 32 GB. Officially supported memory cards format microSDHC up to 32 GB. I must say right away that the available space is 120 MB - very little, you will need to install a memory card if you decide to install applications and games from play -market. For installing applications and several games, a 2-4 GB memory card is quite suitable.
Moreover, without a memory card it is impossible to take a screenshot from the phone screen. According to the programmers' idea, a screenshot can be saved only with a memory card installed in the phone.
In terms of performance, in general, I can say that everything works quite well and smoothly. Can't say that Era Nano 3 works fast, but at the same time - I can't say that it works very slowly. Sort of a middle man. Applications open quickly enough, Internet surfing almost does not slow down, videos open and play well. In the test Antutu Benchmark phone dialed almost 4.500 points, this is not a very high performance indicator. See screenshots.

The hardware of the Era Nano 3 is weak by today's standards, but you can use it. I have never noticed that the phone would be very slow or freeze. If you run several applications at the same time, then the speed of work is slightly reduced, but in general - everything is quite good. If you do not install a bunch of applications on your phone, then it has about 250-300 MB of free RAM - this is quite enough to run several applications at the same time, and so that the phone does not start to slow down during operation. See screenshot above.
As for games - you can play, but in simple games. Cool three-dimensional games this smartphone will not pull.
Fly Era Nano 3 runs on Android 4.1.2, several applications are installed by default: several services from Google, Yandex.search, a widget from Yandex, a browser, etc. To be honest, I don't like that Fly keeps installing the app. Yandex.search in almost all of their smartphones and tablets, and makes it a system one. This application consumes quite a lot of battery power, and without root access it cannot be deleted, because it is a system one. I recommend immediately rooting and deleting this Yandex.search, then the battery will work a little longer, and the OS itself is a little faster. If you want to put the root, then ask questions in the comments, I'll tell you.
But keep in mind - if you make a root, then you lose warranty service on your smartphone!
Over the air update available WiFi (OTA) ) for new firmware, but I do not think that new firmware will be released for this device. It is too budgetary, and it is probably not very profitable for the manufacturer to invest in its further updating to new versions of Android.
In general, the firmware works well, I did not notice any serious glitches or bugs.
Among the advantages of the device:
1. Compact dimensions.
2. High-quality assembly - nothing crunches or backlash.
3. Loud sound from the speaker.
4. Two SIM cards.
5. 2 year warranty and very low price!
The disadvantages include:
1. Weak hardware by today's standards, lack of GPS.
2. There is little built-in memory, but this issue is solved by installing a memory card.
3. The camera takes a photo of very poor quality.
4. No support for USB flash drives via OTG cable.
But to a greater extent, these are not shortcomings, but features of this smartphone. Disadvantages, as such - did not find.
At the time of publication of this review (September 2014), the average price forFly Era Nano 3is only2 296 rubles, judging by Yandex.market. Quite a decent machine for the price!
That's all, thanks for your attention!
An economy-class smartphone with a basic set of functions and interface elements, as well as a minimal cost - this is all about Fly Era Nano 5 IQ434. Reviews about this smart phone, as well as its technical parameters and capabilities - that's the subject of this review material.
This gadget cannot boast of something unusual in terms of design and case material. This is a typical candy bar with its body entirely made of plastic and has only 2 color options: white and black. It is preferable to buy Era Nano 5 Black. Dirt and scratches are not so noticeable on black. But to avoid them even with a cover and a protective film will not work: the quality of the case materials is far from ideal. The white version of this gadget is focused on the weak half of humanity. At the same time, it will need to be handled very carefully so as not to spoil its original state. It is also worth noting that the Fly IQ434 Era Nano 5 Black is slightly more expensive than in the white case. There is more demand for it, hence the difference in price.
A 3.5-inch TFT screen is displayed on the front panel of the device. Below it is a gadget control panel of three typical touch buttons. On the left side there is a volume rocker, and on the right side there is a smartphone lock button. An audio port is placed on the top side of the device, and a "universal" micro-USB is placed on the bottom side. A loud speaker and a single camera peephole are displayed on the back cover of the device.
The MT6571AE is used as the central processor in the Fly Era Nano 5 IQ434. The reviews of the owners of this smart phone model speak of the low level of performance of this chip. It consists of two computing cores, which are based on the architecture of the ARM processors "Cortex-A7". Its strength is low power consumption, but it cannot boast of a high level of performance. The clock frequency of computing cores at maximum load can increase up to 1.3 GHz.
The Fly IQ434 Era Nano 5 has a fairly modest screen. The instructions say that its diagonal is a modest 3.5 inches, and its resolution is 640x480. At the same time, it uses an outdated TFT matrix. As a result, the picture quality on the display is rather mediocre. At viewing angles close to 160 degrees, the image is distorted.
One of the main advantages of this phone model is the presence of the Mali-400 graphics coprocessor. Of course, it does not stand out from its analogues with a fantastic level of performance, but it can be used to watch videos in MPEG-4 and AVI formats, and this is already good.
A very weak camera in a device such as the Fly IQ434 Era Nano 5. The instructions indicate that it is based on a 1.3 megapixel sensor element. Accordingly, the quality of photos and videos obtained with its help is very modest. Additional options such as autofocus, optical image stabilization or LED backlight are not provided in this device. In general, there is a camera, but getting a high-quality photo with it is quite difficult and difficult. The only thing she's good at is
A very modest memory subsystem in this device. The amount of RAM is 256 MB, and the capacity of the built-in storage is 512 MB. It is impossible to increase the amount of RAM, but the capacity of the integrated drive can be increased by installing memory cards. The maximum storage capacity supported is 32 GB.
The Fly Era Nano 5 IQ434 smartphone comes with a 1000 mAh battery. This is a modest value, as in modern times. But if we take into account the small diagonal of its screen and the high degree of energy efficiency of the central processor, then the declared capacity should last for 2-3 days at an average load level on a smart phone. If desired, this value can be increased to 5 days, but at the same time, the device completely and completely turns into a regular two-SIM "dialer". Well, if the phone is loaded to the maximum, then one charge is enough for 1 day of increased load.
The Era Nano 5 phone is equipped with all the necessary wireless communication methods. It supports mobile networks of the 2nd (they are also called GSM) and 3rd (the second name is 3G), Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The first two ways of transmitting information are designed to receive data from the global web, the third is for navigation. Well, the latter allows you to connect a wireless stereo headset to the gadget or exchange data with similar devices. There are also wired interfaces: 3.5 mm (for outputting sound to an external audio system) and micro-USB (provides battery charging and allows you to exchange information with a PC).
Android is used as the software basis of this device. Its version is 4.2. There are no additional programs on this smartphone, there is only a typical set of system software, which includes built-in mini-applications of the operating system (calculator, organizer, alarm clock), a set of programs from Google and clients of international social networks. The new owner of this phone will have to install the rest of the additional software on their own from the application store. At the same time, it should be noted that the capacity of the built-in storage is very small, and you will have to buy a memory card to install many programs.
The key advantage of this device compared to similar devices is the cost of Fly Era Nano 5 IQ434. Reviews point to this feature. You can buy this gadget for $50 today. At the same time, we are talking about a fairly functional smartphone that can solve most everyday tasks: watching videos, listening to radio stations (only with external speakers connected) and music, surfing Internet portals, reading books and navigating around the area - all this is within his power. But it will be quite difficult to get high-quality photos and videos with it. The situation is similar with resource-intensive applications that simply will not run on this device. But on the other hand, expect more from an entry-level smartphone for $ 50 and do not have to. This is what the reviews of the owners of this device indicate.
An affordable economy class smartphone is the Fly Era Nano 5 IQ434. Reviews note its availability. At the same time, it has the essentials for work, and it can easily cope with most everyday tasks. Well, you can't expect anything more from him. For demanding toys and getting high-quality photos and videos, you need to buy a smartphone with the best parameters and characteristics, which will cost several times more.
The British company Meridian Group, which produces mobile phones under the brand name Fly, is actively developing the segment of low-cost smartphones. These devices are not scary to take to nature when you plan an active holiday. If the phone survives, it will save pictures of acceptable quality; if it sinks or breaks, it’s a pity, but not very much. Now the most budgetary representative of this line is the Fly IQ4490i ERA Nano 10 smartphone. Its price ranges from 2500 to 2900 rubles.
Strictly speaking, Meridian Group does not manufacture mobile phones in-house - it only designs them. For the production of products, the production facilities of well-known companies are used: Lenovo, ASUS, Toshiba, etc. A successful design, an acceptable price-quality ratio determined a fairly stable demand for Fly brand products in some European countries, especially in Ukraine and Russia.
Preparing for the release of the Fly IQ4490i ERA Nano 10 smartphone, the company focused on economy. The model runs on a single-core processor SC7710 clocked at 1 GHz. Spreadtrum released this chip for use in entry-level smartphones and declared its low cost as its main advantage.
Fly IQ4490i ERA Nano 10 runs on Android 4.4.2. Google programmers said that this operating system and applications for it require much less system resources than older versions, and therefore can work on devices with poor performance. The Fly IQ4490i ERA Nano 10 smartphone is equipped with 4 GB internal memory. It can be expanded with a microSD memory card up to 32 GB. The amount of RAM is 512 MB. According to Google, this should be enough for the normal operation of the smartphone with the operating system and applications.
The developers have chosen a 4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 800x480 px for the Fly IQ4490i ERA Nano 10. Matrices made using this technology are cheaper than IPS matrices and are inferior to them in terms of color reproduction. On the other hand, displays based on IPS matrices are more energy intensive. For a super-economical smartphone, perhaps it was natural to choose a TFT display.
It is very convenient to have 2 slots for SIM-cards, thanks to which the buyer can choose favorable rates from different operators. Built-in GPS receiver, installed Google maps and Navitel application could make Fly IQ4490i ERA Nano 10 a very useful travel device.
The audio and video player supports all popular formats. There is an FM receiver, Wi-Fi adapter and other useful features. Fly IQ4490i ERA Nano 10 dimensions allow you to operate it with one hand. Fingerprints are almost imperceptible on the matte case. Included with the smartphone are the battery, charger, stereo headphones, USB cable.
The 1500 mAh battery gets very hot even in standby mode and quickly discharges not only when browsing the Internet, but also during a telephone conversation. Actually, manufacturers of Fly IQ4490i ERA Nano 10 honestly warn buyers about this: the maximum time on the Internet is up to 3.5 hours. The more the battery is discharged, the worse the display works - the viewing angle decreases, the image flickers. There are complaints about poor hearing during telephone conversations.
Despite Google's optimistic statements, the resources of Fly IQ4490i ERA Nano 10 are clearly not enough when surfing the web: "heavy" pages with a lot of photos load slowly, so it makes sense to disable displaying images in the browser properties.
