We rested from September 4-11, the child is 4 years old and we are young parents) When planning a vacation, we knew what a hotel of a non-Turkish and Egyptian format is, if you are hoping to see such an all inclusive and such a scale as in Turkey and Egypt, dispel illusions) Basically all hotels are small and this is a plus as for me. We arrived around 8-9 in the morning, we were asked to wait until the room was cleaned, put on a bracelet and sent for breakfast, settled by 11 (check-in at 14.00). The hotel is clean, bright and pleasant, the room is also clean (room 112), there are some scuffs in the shower on the mixer, somewhere the chips are minimal, but these are trifles. Bed linen is white and clean. The room has a hairdryer, air conditioning (for an extra charge), a kettle, a worktop with sockets and a sink. Of the minuses: after taking a shower, a lot of water on the floor, it's not verycomfortable. Meals: everyone will find something to their taste, here individually) For breakfast there are always vegetables, eggs, feta, hard cheese, legumes, cereals and the like, a croissant. from breakfast and fruits. Dinner is even better. Always eat meat, fish, fruits. You can choose to eat, with soup, unfortunately. You can’t take out food, it’s normal, but not normal for the Slavic people😹 I read in the reviews that food, water, alcohol are absolutely forbidden. We have an allergic child and I had to take an electric saucepan with me and cook different porridges in his room, after cooking I took this food to the dining room, there were no complaints, I went to the reception a couple of times and asked if I could take fish or meat with me (the child did not always ate in the dining room), were not particularly happy, but did not refuse. Concessions were made in general. There were no problems with water and alcohol either, you order at the bar, they ask you to your room or on the spot, if you bring it in plastic, they pour it into glass on the spot. There is no bottled water in the hotel (in the store 60 cents a liter or one and a half) Alcohol is an amateur, you can drink beer) In the dining room you will always be greeted with a smile by a miracle woman Maria, you can see how she cares about pleasing everyone. This is a family hotel, the whole family works in it, this is a very big plus! Hotel without animations, discos. There is enough party trash in Malia, so this is not a particularly important point) There are practically no Slavs in the hotel, there are also few children. Beach: With an average step of 15-20 minutes to the beach, if you and your child take a scooter, it is very convenient. On the beach there is a separate fee for a sun lounger and an umbrella, 7-9 euros for two. There is a place where you can not rent, but the beach there is not very good. If you are not very lazy, walk 30 minutes to potamos beach, it is very good there, especially the last bay at the foot of the mountain). On the way there will be banana plantations, cacti, pomegranates and a burning sun, but it's worth it! There is also a tavern where you can eat deliciously. The hotel is located very conveniently, on the one hand the old city, I recommend taking a walk in the evening and during the day, taverns, atmosphere and Greek flavor in all its glory! And on the other side of the hotel there are parties and again parties) Do not be afraid to take tours on the street, in different places there are different prices. I took a tour to Chrissi Island, 50 euros for the trip, ferry and meals. Paradise and cedar forest, the girls will definitely be delighted) In general, as you tune in, so the rest will pass) I fell in love with this island, which I wish you too!❤️…

An excellent family hotel, which left the best impressions of the rest. Favorable location (across the road - the old city, on the side of the hotel - a new one, to the nearest beach on foot 15 minutes, to the most remote 40-50) normal food (arrived very early but fed before settling), decent rooms (by the way, we settled in earlier than possible , the only negative is the shower room and, of course, paid air conditioning, while it was not hot in the room without air conditioning), the Internet is not the best here (but there is an opportunity to take a break from gadgets), I want to note a very good person named Maria, more friendly you will not find a person in Crete ❤️❤️❤️. Thanks to all the staff and Maria for a wonderful stay and hospitality.

Creta Verano Hotel 3* will help you immerse yourself in the calm atmosphere of a family holiday in Crete. Despite the fact that the hotel is located in the depths of the famous town of Malia, on the 3rd beach line, there is no end to those who want to spend time here. A small resort complex, centered around the pool, from the first minute of acquaintance inspires confidence.

Four 2-storey buildings are located along the perimeter of the resort area and overlook the sea, the courtyard with a swimming pool or the neighboring street. In 2020, 45 rooms are ready to receive guests.
Despite the fact that the hotel was built in the mid-80s, the condition of the premises is beyond praise (partly thanks to the last renovation in 2014).

And, if the menu for breakfast is hard not to guess, then lunch and dinner amaze with a variety of delicacies and exquisite serving.
Morning omelettes and cereals are replaced by delicious meat and fish dishes, seafood, including delicacies from mussels and oysters, an abundance of vegetables and fruits. Sweet desserts, fresh pastries, ice cream, a variety of drinks (including alcoholic ones) always find fans among the guests.
Thanks to the efforts of the owners and chefs, the food here is exceptionally delicious.
There is no separate menu for children, but even babies can choose the right food quite simply.
There is an opinion that the hospitality of this hotel can be estimated at all five stars. Perhaps the point is that owners work side by side with their employees. Everything related to the economic part is organized at the highest level. Snow-white linen, well-groomed territory, pools, which are diligently cleaned every night, are just a small part of the merits of the staff.
Despite the absence of Russian-speaking managers, it is not difficult to find a common language: a smile and a friendly attitude are enough. Any requests of guests are fulfilled with enviable speed and diligence. Check-in occurs instantly, taking into account all the wishes of tourists, regardless of the time of arrival. In general, it is difficult to overestimate when every hotel employee is sincerely happy with his guests for many days.

Don't expect anything more from Creta Verano than just relaxing on the terrace around the pool.
Yes, you can sunbathe and swim here; watch how the children frolic in the "paddling pool" and play on the mini playground; sit at the tables at the exit of the hotel, watching the passers-by. But no more. No other entertainment and animation programs are provided.
Those who can't sit still will like walking around the city or cycling. There is a large supermarket right on the road to the beach. This is where you can relax and buy not only original souvenirs from Greece and clothes from Cretan designers, but also decent wine, oils, delicious dairy products.
What the guests of Creta Verano are definitely lucky with is the beach, despite the fact that a walk to it through narrow streets will take at least 20 minutes. After all, the beaches of Malia are considered the best on the entire coast of Crete due to the golden sands and the clear azure sea.
The equipped city beach boasts a well-developed infrastructure. Sun loungers with umbrellas, changing cabins, showers are provided in such quantities that there is definitely enough for everyone. True, often pragmatic tourists prefer their own towels to paid sunbeds, but here, as they say, “the owner is a gentleman.”
Since there are no bays in this part of the island, strong waves are not uncommon here. However, avid surfers consider this a big plus. Equipment rental centers for windsurfing, diving and other water sports are found at every turn, and gorgeous dive videos make an excellent advertisement for the island.
Even without planning to go on a trip to the sights of Heraklion (34 km) and Hersonissos (10 km) or on a sightseeing trip around the island, you can find a lot of interesting things a stone's throw from the hotel.
Malia is famous not only for its fabulous coastline. This bustling party town is completely focused on the tourism business. Therefore, the number of bars, cafes, taverns, shops and all kinds of shops just rolls over. Having wandered along the coast, you can not only have fun at discos and daring shows, but decently stock up on local souvenirs, the freshest seafood, delicious wines and even jewelry. The fact is that the production of silver and gold products has long been developing in the town. Many gizmos are not only unique in their appearance, but also very democratic in price.
But the main pride of Malia is the Minoan Palace, built approximately in 1900 BC. and well known from photos from various travel magazines. The old name of the city and the date of foundation are still unknown, but it is considered one of the oldest cities in Greece. Here and there, the excavated ruins of public buildings and residential buildings come across, which once again proves the archaeological value of these places.

The hotel has a very homely atmosphere. It was like visiting relatives. This hotel was spotted during our last vacation in Malia, and this time we decided to stay here. Early in the morning we were already at the hotel, we were quickly issued and immediately invited to breakfast (which was a pleasant surprise). The room is big and has everything you need. Level cleanliness. But the air conditioner is paid (we did not use it, it was still cool in the evenings). Free internet works well. The territory of the hotel as such is not, or rather, it is all given over to the pool. There is also a children's shallow pool and a small playground with slides and ladders. The food is good. Although the choice is not so big, but everything is fresh and tasty. There was always meat, fruits, vegetables, sour milk and a small dessert. Walk 20 minutes to the beach past along the street past shops and cafes. In principle, the road is pleasant and we even liked to walk like that.

Creta Verano exceeded all our expectations! We spent a week here and had a lot of fun! We arrived at 9.00 in the morning, and at the front desk they immediately took our passports from us, and also invited us to breakfast. I know from personal experience that hotels rarely offer food before check-in, but here they did it without any questions and provided the room right away. Naturally, this immediately captivates. Upon arrival, they paid attention to the fresh renovation, everything is new, everything is clean and comfortable. The rooms are cleaned daily and they do it very well. As for food, by the way, I also have a lot to say. Firstly, everything was delicious, and secondly, we liked the variety. For you to understand, hot dishes have never been repeated in a week. When the vacation came to an end and we were checking out, we were offered coffee (at 4 am!). Very caring! A few more words about the location. The beach is a 20-minute walk, but this is not a minus, but rather a plus, since the hotel is far from party places for young people (nightclubs and bars), respectively, the rest will be calm. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone! Go ahead and don't worry!
